Renewable energy
powered by nature
Our closed loop model turns organic waste into clean, renewable baseload energy and high-protein microalgae.
We support local communities
Farmers
We provide the ultimate solution for organic waste produced from agriculture and make use of the carbon and nutrient value within that waste producing a reliable source of baseload, renewable energy and year round solution for dealing with waste containing high nutrients on farm.
Business
We provide a complementary solution for organic wastes produced in regional areas where small to medium businesses can actually see the economic and environmental outcomes from disposing of their organic waste with us. We also produce baseload renewable energy which small to medium business can access where they do not have the capital to invest in solutions themselves.
The planet
Our technology makes use of biogenic carbon contained within organic waste - our waste solution ensures energy within waste can be captured and harnessed whilst nutrients can be contained and cultivate a high value product which has a very low carbon footprint. We make use of materials which are neglected and can cause harm to the environment when left unmanaged.
From waste to energy
Our process involves continuous fermentation of organic waste from agriculture and food manufacturing using a two-stage anaerobic-digestion process.
The products from anaerobic digestion include biogas and digestate, a nutrient solution with a high concentration of ammoniacal nitrogen.
The biogas will be cleaned using a filtration system and condenser increasing the concentration of biomethane within the biogas. It will then be injected into a combined heat and power generator to produce electricity and heat.
The electricity is renewable and will be exported to the local electricity grid. The residual heat and digestate will be further enhanced and introduced to raceway ponds to cultivate micro-algae.
The flue gas from electricity generation contains CO2, an essential part of the process. It provides the ideal carbon source for photosynthesis whilst the ammoniacal nitrogen is necessary for producing protein.
The final product is micro-algae with high protein content, which we aim to concentrate and sell as a low-carbon consumer product.

Toongabbie Project
A 15,000 tonnes per annum (1.1MW) baseload renewable energy project making the highest order use of agricultural and food manufacturing waste produced in the immediate area.
Community Feedback
We value feedback from the local community in relation to the Toongabbie proposal. The project will be regulated by Commonwealth, State and Local Government Authorities and integrates waste management with renewable energy and primary production. The project will create a number of local full time roles with prospects to explore downstream manufacturing in phase 2.
Team
We are a team offering a diverse set of research, development and operational skills with a hands-on approach to development.
