Toongabbie Project
Toongabbie is the first in a pipeline of opportunities for C-Loop in regional areas of Australia. The majority of the nation's net zero targets will be achieved from activities undertaken in regional communities across Australia, such as Toongabbie.
Renewable baseload energy
There are long term agreements in place for agricultural waste as feedstock for the Bioenergy plant, from nearby farms. Baseload renewable electricity generation is distributed into the local network.
Minimal disturbance to land
Integrating bioenergy and algae cultivation minimises land disturbance to the same development footprint. 4.58 hectares required for 1.1MW of electricity and 54 tonnes of micro-algae per annum containing >50% protein.
High-protein microalgae
Year round cultivation of high protein concentrate with ambition towards high value products making use of the resources in the area.
